Lilwin , Kelvinbowy And Others To Storm Asante Mampong with ‘October 2 Remember ‘ Concert

Come October 26, at the Video City , Ghana’s Most Favorite Actor cum Musician Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin and other Ghana’s finest contingent of extraordinary performers will treat audience to the best of original Hip Pop and Pure Afrobeat music made in Ghana.
Organised by BBN and PACESETTER , Sincity in partnership with Kpookeke Atadwe Ginger , the October To Remember Concert will be on record as the heaviest lineup for a single event inside the shores of Ashanti Region with night being hosted by DJ Texas (Price Fm) and Okyeame Akwadaa Nyame (SincityBoss).

This is the first time any Ghanaian artist is playing at the venue.
Award winning Afrobeat Artist kelvinboy who recently dropped his Loko ft Medikal topping Site and charts is performing live on the show. Best Rapper Hippop Artist, Strongman will also be treating fans will unending back to back raps live. Other performers include sensational Hip Pop Youth President Ypee and Young Chorus, Rapmakerz, Freddy Blaze.

The ultimate October party night will also have heavyweight upcoming artistes, Long Face and Kobby Ozxy on the bill to entertain patrons to the best of their abilities.
“We are ahead with preparation. A lot have gone into the event and the good thing is that, we have put all needed arrangements weeks ahead of the show because, we believe it will be the biggest to happen inside Asante Mampong ” — Mr. Gabriel Nyame , CEO of Sincity Ghana.

The maiden edition of the October to Remember is a musical concert planned to provide top quality performance experience, fun-charged party atmosphere for Hip Pop and Afrobeat music lovers to meet and party with their favorite artistes.
Official DJs on the night are DJ Flash , DJ Pizzaro , DJ Emma Black , DJ Ay .

“Senseless Movie Is Better Than Pornography” – Shatana Slams Martha Ankomah

Philanthropist and female songstress, Shatana has replied famed actress, Martha Ankomah over her utterance on Kumawood movies.

Martha in an interview has asserted that most of Kumawood movies did not have substance and were baseless in terms of storyline. Shatana has rebutted her claims saying, that these ‘senseless’ movies are better off than movies with excessive sensual and erotic movies that Martha heavily featured in.

She expressed that there are most veteran actors and actresses who are finding it difficult to erase some movies they did when they were young because their reputation now is at stake but can’t.

She further issued a word of advice to young and upcoming actors to be on their guard as to the type of roles they take up because some are life altering in the near future.

“I’m Not Afraid Of Shatta Wale, I Will Face Him Squarely” – Andy Dosty

The feud between Ghanaian dancehall best, Shatta Wale and revered DJ and journalist, Andy Dosty got a bit personal when Shatta took to a stage and insulted the latter’s mother. Before then, they were very cool friends, colleagues that got most jealous about their religious friendship.

Yesterday on Asempa 94.7 FM’s “Showbiz Review” entertainment show, Andy Dosty opened up for the first time on the issue. Speaking to the host, Obidombie Adu Kumi, Andy confessed that the issue is deeper than what the public see and have heard. He furthered that he and Wale still talk sometimes.

He explained that the relationship with Shatta Wale only turned sour when Wale came insulting his mother. Andy also said that he is not utterly angry about the whole issue and that if he was, he would confront Shatta Wale face to face.

Andy Dosty then told a story where he and Bisa Kdei were in a car and Shatta Wale came to greet Bisa and insulted him.
