51-Year-Old Trader Takes Advantage Of Free SHS

Comfort Nutsugah, a 51-year old trader, has taken advantage of government’s Free Senior High School Policy to further her education.

Ms. Nutsugah, a mother of six, who sells used clothing after school hours, is a first-year General Arts Student of the Keta Senior High Technical School in the Volta Region.

She is part of the Gold Track and told the Ghana News Agency that she went back to school at Kopeyia Bloomfield Basic School in the Ketu South Municipality and completed in 2018.

“I remember I sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) with my fifth born and had it not been for the Free SHS, I wouldn’t have continued my education to this level,” she said.

Ms. Nutsugah commended President Nana Akufo-Addo for implementing the Policy and urged all stakeholders to ensure its success.

She said though her mates were as young as her children, she was enjoying the class and happy to be back in school.

Smoke Ice Music and JayRaw Multimedia has announced the signing of a new male singer, Kulli Jay to their record label, Smoke Ice Music/JayRaw Multimedia.

The up-and-coming musician, Kelvin Osei Owusu who goes by the stage name Kulli Jay, also expressed his excitement about the deal, promising his best under the new management.

Kulli Jay, the new signee has been churning out a couple of music before he came into contact with Smoke Ice Music/Jayraw Multimedia. The announcement and signing was posted on the socials of the Label. Speaking to the CEO of Ice Smoke Music, he promises that their new signee is full of goodies and that Ghana and beyond should expect something awesome.

Kulli Jay is expected to drop his newest single under the label very soon.
