Black Sherif enskinned as Nachin Naa in Temale

Black Sherif, the singer has been enskinned as the youth chief title “Nachin Naa,” making him Temale’s new chief.

His new title in the neighborhood translates to “Youth Chief.”

In a little video, the artist can be seen accepting a smock from local elders.

The Villain I Never Was is a recent album by Black Sherif with fourteen songs.

His transformation from a young Muslim from the mining town of Konongo to a globally renowned artist is both painful and thrilling, as shown in the project’s main tracks, “45” and “Soja.”

On The Villain I Never Was, Black Sherif blends cultures to create his own world using his native Twi and narrative talent together with “asakaa” (the Ghanian version of the common drill sound), Afrobeats, and other musical genres.

Black Sherif, who already has millions of listens worldwide thanks to songs like “Kwaku The Traveller” and “Second Sermon,” is proud to release his first full-length album and make his US debut on November 6th at Elsewhere in New York City.

Mohammed Ismail Sharrif, who was born on January 9th, 2002, was nurtured in Ghana’s Ashanti Region in Konongo-Zongo, his hometown.

At the age of ten, Black Sherif lived with his aunt and other members of his extended family while both of his parents continued to work abroad. He was exposed to several influences and other civilizations at a very young age as a result of his itinerant existence.

He completed his secondary school at Kumasi Academy, where he developed a liking in music and dancing, after receiving his basic education at Konongo Zongo Islamic Basic School.

He attended the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) in the past and is now enrolled at the University of Ghana.
