Why Shatta Wale’s ‘GoG’ has delayed

The awaited album by Shatta Wale has now been available for a day past the scheduled release time.

The reggae/dancehall star enthralled the audience in August while giving a performance at the ‘SummerStage’ event in New York City by telling them they would be the first to know when the album would be released. “October 17,” he said.

It was pretty persuasive for supporters that the long play (LP or album) would be released as part of the celebration because 17 October is Shatta Wale’s birthday. That didn’t take place.

Instead, a song that was allegedly intended to be the project’s first official single was made public on Sunday, October 16. It is known as “Cash Out.”

Although Shatta Wale hasn’t provided an official justification for this holdup, he did claim that everything that has been announced about the album up until this point has been done so in a bid to raise anticipation in an interview with Accra’s Joy FM on Saturday, October 15.

“Here, everyone should applaud me for having kept the topic of “GoG” in the public eye for three years. That is an entire marketing plan, “the singer of the popular song “On God” received cheers from the studio audience.

The Shatta Movement (SM) boss observed, “It’s so lovely that everyone is talking about it,” and insisted, “There is a ‘GoG’ record.”

The LP would have been released, according to the multiple award-winning artist and record producer who celebrated his 38th birthday yesterday.

“Because of this, we had to adjust some techniques and plans and [learn] how to elicit conversation. The fans have already been told. For the past three years, “He clarified.

Because I don’t know any musician in Ghanaian history who has kept an album for three years and still had people talk about it for three years, he continued, “When it comes, everyone should embrass it.”

Should another artist try his strategy, “you won’t [be engaged to play show(s) again in your life,” he added, underscoring its originality and the strength of his brand.
