THE GOVERNMENT WILL BE FULLY INVOLVED IN ATSU’S BURIAL- BAWUMIA.

  1. Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana has assured Ghanaians and sympathisers of the late Christian Atsu to expect a befitting burial of the former Black Stars forward.

The mortal remains of Atsu touched down in Accra on Sunday, February 19, 2023 evening at the Kotoka International Airport after he was confirmed dead a day earlier.

The player could not survive after an earthquake struck in Turkey two weeks ago leaving him under the rubble. Speaking at the airport, Dr Bawumia sent condolences to the family once more as well as other bereaved parties while assuring of the government’s full involvement in the burial.

“I would like to extend my condolences to all of them[Atsu’s siblings] and the entire family for this deep loss. I would also like to extend my condolences to the footballing fraternity. Atsu played for the Black Stars and he was much loved. We will surely miss him.

“I will like to extend my condolences to the Ghana Supporters Union and all Ghanaians for this loss. It is a painful loss, a very painful one.

“But as the good Lord says in the good book that from him we came and to him shall we return. We pray that the soul of Christian Atsu rests in perfect peace in the bosom of the Lord and I will like to say that the state will be fully involved with the family in providing him with a befitting burial,” he said.

The up-and-coming musician, Kelvin Osei Owusu who goes by the stage name Kulli Jay, also expressed his excitement about the deal, promising his best under the new management.

Kulli Jay, the new signee has been churning out a couple of music before he came into contact with Smoke Ice Music/Jayraw Multimedia. The announcement and signing was posted on the socials of the Label. Speaking to the CEO of Ice Smoke Music, he promises that their new signee is full of goodies and that Ghana and beyond should expect something awesome.

Kulli Jay is expected to drop his newest single under the label very soon.
