People with disabilities in the . kwabre east municipality says the assembly has neglected them after they wrote petition to them.

However, lack of sensitization and capacity for the PWD’s on common fund disbursement in the kwabre east municipal assembly.
An objective of fund is to build the capacity of OPWD’s in the district of the DCAF should be well sensitized about the actual purpose allocated to the PWD’s but the kwabre east municipal Assembly has refused to conduct such sensitization and capacity building activities rather the assembly has used some of the funds to organize two (2)durbar To distribute items which breach the NATIONAL council on persons with disability guideline (NCPD).

Also, the kwabre east municipal Assembly has refused to issue the bank statement and supporting documents after the assembly has stolen the 2018 year common fund issued to by the govt to the PWD’s which is a total amount of 227, 822.23 Ghana cedis.

Due to such problems going on in the municipality, poor human relation and communication is another difficulties we are facing. The department of social welfare director and coordinating director in kwabre East municipal assemblyoften listen to the views of most PWD’S who visited their office . These attitudes violate the right of PWDS . they revealed.

Furthermore , the kwabre east municipal Assembly has no plans for their 2019 budget as Assembly IGF and DDF support for PWD’s development in the municipality.

The department of social welfare director in the kwabre east municipal Assembly whose responsibility is to monitor the disbursement and utilization and make Appropriate recommendations to improve the process of common fund disbursement for PWDS has refused to assist the situation.
In addition, the kwabre east municipal chief executive is also denying our claim. They added .

They are therefore calling on the president of the republic of Ghana, Asantehene , Ahsanti regional minister , nananom ,CRAJ , Ashanti regional police commander.

Nana Agradaa allegedly dupes church members with new ‘Sika Gari’ scam

Evangelist Patricia Oduro, also known as Nana Agradaa, has been charged with scamming church goers using her well-known money-doubling scheme.

According to information acquired, the former fetish priestess has successfully conned her first group of church members using her “Sika Gari” scam.

According to reports, Nana Agradaa had earlier made a television promise to provide $300,000 to her congregation while promising to double any donations made to her.
