Sylvia Tyson whose genuine name is Sylvia Owhue Tyson (Mrs David) is a famous upcoming gospel singer and a performer situated in Accra. Known for her trendy novel tune “Osombo”, Sylvia is one of the upcoming gospel musicians who is already masking name for herself. Sylvia hails from big Ada and Akyem Manso.

Sylvia Tyson was brought up in Ghana in Accra. She spent her early years living with her mother and father. Her mother’s name is Juliana Nyarko and that of her father is Evans Ofoi Tyson.

The legend musician prayed and blessed her, so she received the anointing whiles she was still striving for fame. Sylvia Tyson looked up to Getty and Friends as a mother figure and mentor and started listening to gospel songs of her role model Getty and Friends just to tap the anointing and the style of her singing skills. She came out with her first recording in the year 2023 to practice her musical talent. She finally did a lot of works for her music career and started writing her own lyrics for her first single, “Osombo” (He Is Worthy), which is now on muisc markets making great waves.
