Christined Komla Emmanuel Bigah, E-Komla was born to Mr. Dominic Kofi Bigah and Madam Cecilia Ackey.

E-Komla’s passion for music was ignited at a tender age. Growing up in a household where highlife music was a staple, he was naturally drawn to the genre, which has greatly influenced his artistry. His parents’ love for highlife legends like E.T. Mensah and Amakye Dede instilled in him a deep appreciation for the genre’s rich cultural heritage.

E-Komla’s musical journey began in the church choir, where he honed his vocal skills and developed a strong foundation in music.

His educational pursuits took him to Togo, where he attended a French school and later to Saint Albert Le Grand for his tertiary education. Upon returning to Ghana, he ventured into private business before finally pursuing his true calling – music.

E-Komla’s inspirations are a diverse mix of Ghanaian and international icons, including Castro, EL, Fela Kuti, and Maitre Gims. These influences are evident in his unique sound, which blends traditional highlife with modern Afrobeats and a hint of international flair.

His debut single, “Bless My Way,” featuring Alhani, made a significant impact on the music scene, garnering widespread approval and attention. He followed this success with “Mon Bebe,” which further solidified his growing fan base.

E-Komla’s latest release, “Aseda,” is a testament to his artistic growth and dedication to his craft.
