Artiste Profile: Meet Newbrand Gh, Rising Afrobeat Duo Based In Ghana

Music in Ghana is fast taking over the globe so far as Afrobeat is concerned. One of the upcomings who are making waves in the game is duo, Newbrand.

Newbrand is made up of two young guys by name, Isaac Adom Fokuo, who school  at Simms Senior High School and Eric Konadu, who also schooled at Kofi Agyei Senior High School. Adom and Eric before coming together as the team, Newbrand in 2009, had been friends since infancy as they stayed in the same vicinity, Mampoteng, in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region. Both in their teen ages had passion for music and sang in churches.

Newbrand had their first official single, ‘Never Again’ in 2018, which was produced by Bruan Shuga. This song solidified their brand as it was readily accepted by all and sundry who loved Afrobeat. They then followed it with, ‘Wild’ which featured Kito Wan and Bruan Shuga, again came in with, ‘Ginger’ featuring Bruan Shuga, Wormanne and Sei aa with Amerado. These songs over a period of two years have cemented the duo group, Newbrand in the game of music in Ghana and beyond.

Their newest song, We Go Blow is also receiving much appeal and appreciation. Newbrand has assured fans and lovers of their music that they are bringing nothing but the best of music experience to them and that they should continue supporting them.
