The 3Music Awards winner has a huge fan base and appeal on a global scale thanks to DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, and other artists.
Black Sherif earned 100 Million Boomplay streams in June 2022.
In its first week, his hit song Kwaku The Traveller received 75 million streams and gave rise to a trending TikTok challenge. Ghana’s second BET Hip Hop Award nominee is Black Sherif.

Rapper Sarkodie from Ghana won the newly created category in 2019 after defeating Falz from Nigeria, Ghetts from the United Kingdom, Kalash from France, Lil Simz from the United Kingdom, Nasty C from South Africa, and Tory Lanez (Canada).
