BOSOME FREHO YOUTH DEMANDING MORE ANSWERS FROM THE GHANA EDUCATION SERVICE (GES)
The above mentioned group are hereby expressing our heartfelt displeasure without equivocation and as matter of urgent demanding answers from the Ghana education service as to why The talents in the district are sidelined.
FLASHBACK: The Ghana education service Ashanti Regional Chapter on Wednesday 20th August 2014 organized a practical Competition for the JHS students Called ” SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, MATHEMATICS AND INNOVATION EDUCATION (STMIE) which according to the Junior Graphic reported by Donald Ato Dapatem, 595 students were involved regional wise. After the Exercise, One Boy from Anyinase L/A JHS in the Bosome Freho District Seth Jumah According to the Junior graphic adjudged Regional Best where his picture was highlighted at their front page and other media outlets but as we speak, the Boy has been left unconcerned for the past 5years.
Aside the neglection, the most annoying part is that, one Mr Barffour who was the IPPD coordinator for the District According to the Boy’s father had collected some money from him for his son’s Lorry fair but those amount never yielded any fruit . We gathered information from a confirmed source that, the then education director of the District Madam Georgina Anyan on one of the past 6th March Celebrations ordered this Young boy to demonstrate as to how he became the regional best in the that Science Competition where the DCE at the Time Hon Kwame Adarkwah awarded him with 20pieces of Exercise Books which to us not enough. The Above group through our PRO Okogyeabour Ocran forwarded the necessary information to the Incumbent MP and DCE Hon Joyce Adwoa Akoh Dei and Hon Yaw Danso respectively but to no avail. We were not discouraged, same information was give to The Member of parliament for Trobu constituency who double as a ranking member on education in parliament Hon Moses Anim but as we speak, nothing has been heard from them but what we are saying is that, we are preparing to petition The President and the Education minister to demand for Justice for this young talented boy because Bosome Freho too deserves better.

DEBUT ALBUM: Miriam Mandipira & The Soul Family
DEBUT ALBUM by Miriam Mandipira & The Soul Family!
You’ve never heard a voice like Miriam Mandipira’s. Undeservedly, she doesn’t take credit for the power or presence she delivers. For Miriam, music is much more than just notes and words. It’s
magic. And faith. You can experience it LIVE and on the album, which is set to be released on September 1st.
She has been singing for as long as she can remember, growing up with her ears glued to the radio.
From the moment her school teacher asked her to sing in class, the rest has been history. From Africa to Denmark, from Book Café in Harare to Mojo Blues Bar and the big concert halls. From
Danish Radio Big Band to the Royal Theater. Music is music, and Miriam is the music.
“But it’s not about me when I sing. I’m just the instrument, and when I’m on stage with my band, I sing from a place that’s not about rules and technique but about emotions,” says the singer, who is
seriously trying her hand at songwriting – together with her Soul Family on the album “Ndiwe”, which means ‘you are the chosen one of my heart.’ The overall message is impossible to ignore
Love.
“Call me a soul singer, call me a jazz singer. I don’t care. Good music is good music, and I love interpreting other people’s songs and being inspired. At the same time, I think it’s great to try my
hand at creating and writing the songs myself – and with my friends in the Soul Family, I have found my place. They are my family, and the curiosity and respect we share are fantastic.”
You can experience that up close when Miriam & The Soul Family take the stage. The enthusiasm for music and communication is impossible to ignore and hear.
“I love to maintain the feeling of being a child. It’s an excitement and curiosity that keeps me going, and that’s why I’m so excited about every single concert – no matter how small or large it is.
Otherwise, I would never do it. This is not just a casual thing. This is a life, and everything means something,” says Miriam, who began her years in Denmark by jamming at Mojo Blues Bar, building a network.
