“I Have Never Walked A Straight Path In The Gospel Industry” – Cwesi Oteng

Expressive Gospel artiste and crooner of the contemporary Gospel genre in Ghana, Cwesi Oteng has said he diverted from the status quo of the gospel industry to break out of his shell and get to where he is now.

Speaking to Obidombie Adu Kumi on Adom 106.3 FM’s Entertainment Hall, Cwesi Oteng expanciated that it is his anointing on him that made him to be unique from all the other gospel musicians at the time. He further explored that it was this his rebellion that propelled the change in the Gospel genre to what we have currently.

The “God Dey Bless Me” hitmaker deployed that people shunned him and many did not want to help him because they feared his style of music would not burgeon. Thanks to his hard work and dedication, he made it happen not locally but internationally as well.

Cwesi Oteng who has a new song titled “Momo” out, advised the up and coming musicians to stay focused, diverse and original and have a tough mentality towards the art they are bringing out.
