Kuame Eugene vows to kick off foreign music out of Ghana this coming December.
For those who are worried that Nigerian music has dominated Ghanaian music space, there is a reason to smile. Ghana’s rockstar kuami Eugene has vowed to flood the system with bangers and kick foreign music out of the country by December
Over the past years, Ghanaians have raised concerns about the ingress of too much foreign music especially Nigerian Afrobeats in the country. About a week ago, Ghanaian producer and talent manager D-Black relighted the issue of Ghanaians consuming too much Nigerian music after he shared Ghana’s Top 20 Apple Music chart which had about 17 Nigerian songs. This raised discussions on social media as many believe is the reason why Ghanaian music is not gaining so much foreign attraction.
Yesterday a Twitter user ‘@KaMa_Sly’ raised concerns that Ghana’s music participation in the global scene has declined because Kuami Eugene has stop releasing bangers.
“Ghana music industry is gradually going down again & Nigeria music is gaining grounds coz of TikTok & Kuami Eugene has stopped dropping bangers. I’m not one of his cult fans but boy has held the industry in recent time & it’s a Fact. @KuamiEugene we beg drop something & save GH,” he tweeted.
This caught the attention of Ghana’s rockstar. In the response to the tweet, Kuami Eugene revealed he is working very hard in silence to release many bangers in order to kick foreign music out of the country by December. He also added that he’s scared Ghanaians will try the “Pull him down” spirit on him again.
“That’s the main reason why I’ve been quiet for some time now. Give me now till December. I will flood the system so bad, there will be no room for Foreign music. That’s if our very own people don’t fight it as Usual,” Kuami responded to the tweet.

There’s Nothing Like Worldly People, Most Of These People Possess Good Characters – Herty Bongreat
Gospel artist Herty Bongreat recently shared her thoughts on why she chose to collaborate with secular artists Sarkodie and Trigmatic. Her response highlighted the importance of looking beyond surface-level appearances. “People we perceive as ‘worldly’ often possess remarkable humanistic qualities, even surpassing those who claim to know Christ.”
Herty emphasized the need to engage with others before making judgments. “Comparing their lifestyle to that of some people within the church reveals a stark difference.”
In addition to her thoughts on collaboration, Herty also shared valuable advice on parenting in the digital age. “As parents, we must be proactive and involved in our children’s lives, especially online. Assuming we know what they’re doing can lead to unawareness of potential issues.”
Herty’s words serve as a reminder to approach others with an open mind and to prioritize involvement in our children’s lives.
