Bnoskka Champions CNC Name Change to Reflect National Scope
Bnoskka, officially known as Benjamin Oduro Arhin Jnr, is a renowned Creative Arts Business and Intellectual Property Consultant and Lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba. As the CEO of PMAGHANA, Bnoskka has been a vocal advocate for Ghana’s creative economy and its stakeholders for over a decade.
Recently, on Kasapa Entertainment hosted by Eddie Ray, Bnoskka made a compelling case for renaming the head office of the Centre for National Culture (CNC). The current name, National Commission on Culture (NCC), is often mistaken for the National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE), causing confusion and undermining the organization’s purpose.
Bnoskka emphasized that the CNC has offices in all 16 regions of Ghana, but the head office’s name fails to reflect its national scope and significance. To address this issue, Bnoskka proposed renaming the head office to CNC National Headquarters, which would clearly indicate its role as the central hub of the organization.
This name change would be a significant step towards showcasing Ghana’s vibrant cultural heritage to the world. By advocating for this change, Bnoskka aims to raise awareness about the importance of clear and accurate branding for national institutions like the CNC.
