Sham was born in Tauranga, New Zealand on 13th December 2000. He has double nationality New Zealand and Fiji, giving him profound Pacific roots and a balanced cultural heritage. Standing at a height of 178cm, he is now a modern-day defender with physical strength and technical insight.

Sham’s main position is Right Back, but it’s his versatility that is most valuable. He is equally comfortable playing as:
Sham’s football life stepped up in the 2022/23 season.

After impressing at Manukau City, he signed a massive transfer contract with Franklin United, which plays at a higher level. He made his bold switch midway through the season, and he did not take long to vindicate his decision.

In spite of appearing only half the season with Franklin United, his performances were exemplary. He was a creative playmaker on the right wing, who gave 5 assists in 10 games a phenomenal return for a defender.

His composure with possession and game intelligence has made him a confident starter.
Sham’s not just playing footy, he’s building a career. From Manukau City to Franklin united mid way through the season. With his talent, maturity, and attitude, he is developing into one of New Zealand football’s most promising full-backs.

Bahrain Club Lead Chase For Belgium Defender Jeremy Bulaya

Former Belgium youth international Jeremy Bulaya is the subject of interest from a Bahrain Premier League club ahead of the start of the 2025/26 season.

Bulaya who is currently a free agent is exploring chances of signing with a Bahrain club for the new season which will be his third club abroad.

The 23-year-old has been an impressive figure at the back for the Spanish side CD Eldense B since his arrival in February 2025.

” There is an official offer from a big club in Bahrain, we are finalizing everything,” Bulaya said.

He started his career at VK Berchem and several Belgium clubs including Olympic Charleroi and Francs Borains before making his first move abroad with Spanish side CD El Ejido and CD Eldense where he played for second (B) team.

Jeremy Bulaya completes move to Royal Excelsior Virton

Francs Borains star prospect Jeremy Bulaya completed his highly anticipated transfer to Belgian giants, Royal Excelsior Virton on Wednesday.

The transfer came after a fruitful first season as a regular starter for Francs Borains , which saw Bulaya light up the club.

“I’m extremely excited to join Royal Excelsior Virton for this next chapter of my career,” The Woluwe-Saint-Lambert born said. “This is an ambitious Club representing one of the greatest cities in the world, and I’m looking forward to making my mark here.”

His height of 1.83m makes him a unique addition to the team, offering a different level of experience having already played for Belgium giants Olympic Charleroi.

Bulaya scored 1 goal and provided three assists in 12 appearances in just six months at Francs Borains.

Jeremy will be crucial in spending time with the Royal Excelsior Virton U21 squad as part of his development.

The player plays as a centre-back and at times a defensive midfielder, representing Belgium at youth level, earning four caps.
