Yvonne Okoro and Lydia Forson Have Opted Out Of ‘Away Bus’ Movie Because Of Akuapem Polo

Published

on

Human rights activist and feminist, Lydia Forson together with awarded actress Yvonne Okoro has opted out of the ongoing shooting of the movie ‘Away Bus‘, just because Rosemond Brown was also a part of the movie and they didn’t know.

Rosemond Brown, best known as as “Akuapem Poloo” has been playing it nasty on social media for sometime now, from kissing, giving lap dances and insulting other stars online. This has generated a lot of disgust and hate for her by her colleagues in the industry. The main reason for Lydia and Yvonne quitting the movie shooting is that, they didn’t want to soil their hard-earned reputation and brand by being in the same movie with the likes of “Akuapem Poloo“.

The movie ‘Away Bus‘ which is being produced by Kofi Asamoah and Peter Sedufia features almost half of the actors and actresses in the industry including Agya Koo, Akrobeto, Kalybos, and a chunk of others.

Gospel artist Herty Bongreat recently shared her thoughts on why she chose to collaborate with secular artists Sarkodie and Trigmatic. Herty emphasized the need to engage with others before making judgments. “Comparing their lifestyle to that of some people within the church reveals a stark difference.”

In addition to her thoughts on collaboration, Herty also shared valuable advice on parenting in the digital age. “As parents, we must be proactive and involved in our children’s lives, especially online. Assuming we know what they’re doing can lead to unawareness of potential issues.”

Herty’s words serve as a reminder to approach others with an open mind and to prioritize involvement in our children’s lives.
