AKYEM- ABUAKWA NOW A SECURITY THREAT TO TEACHERS

Published

on

The Great NDC Party in the Abuakwa South Constituency duly shares their condolences to the bereaved family of the late Headmaster, Mr. George Somuah Bosompem who was recently murdered by a gang of wee smokers at Asiakwa in the Abuakwa South Municipality.

The headmaster’s untimely death is very shocking and now causing fear and Panic to other colleague teachers within the Municipality.

We have had numerous security challenges under this Nana Addo’s government which has led to the death of our beloved, Humble, and Dedicated headmaster ( Mr. George Somuah Bosompem).

Most of the insecurity in the municipality is caused by the unemployed youth who have turned into weed smoking and tramadol abuse due to lack of job as a result of the collapsed of small scale mining in the municipality.

What is shocking is the Silence of government officials and other leaders in the Municipality who are to fight for the course of teachers. No doubt they are in bed with this uncaring government.

We are therefore calling on Our Opinion leaders, Municipal Chief executive, Christian Council and the Education Director to as a matter of urgency follow up this sudden death and also ensure that those murderes are made to face the law.

We are again calling on Opinion leaders and all educational stakeholders to meet with all teachers and heads within the Municipality and assure them of maximum security and protection.
