ASAKRAKA RESIDENTS APPEAL TO GOV’T OVER POOR ROAD NETWORK

The residents of Asakraka and its environs in the Atwima Nwabiagya South of the Ashanti Region are calling on the Government to attend to their aid on developmental projects.
According to the residents, their livelihood is characterized by the lack of potable water, health care center, poor educational facilities, and bad roads.
They disclosed this to Fox News adding that, poor roads network has become a major challenge to them, perhaps, the area is considered as one of the areas which produces the country’s food stuffs.

They emphasized that, they haven’t set up their eyes on their MP after election and they are fed up with unfulfilled promises, the government must come to [our aid],.

The Chief of Asakraka Nana Osei Tutu Amankwah II, stated bitterly over the treatment given them by these stomach politicians, he called for government intervention.

‘’Sometimes we use our pocket monies to fill potholes on the roads before our famers can ply on it, during rainy seasons school children refuses to go to school due to the nature of the roads, we are appealing to the authorities to listen to our pleas”, he noted.
