The National Theatre played host to the 13th edition of the prestigious ASGAB Foklex Media Awards on Saturday, 11th May, 2024, in a ceremony that celebrated exceptional journalism and outstanding achievements in the Ghanaian media landscape. The event, organized by Foklex Media, aimed to recognize and reward deserving media personalities and organizations for their contributions to the industry.

Among the esteemed winners was Mc Rabbi, a talented radio presenter with Abusua 96.5 FM, who took home the coveted “Entertainment Program Host Of The Year” award for the Ashanti Region. Mc Rabbi’s popular show, “Anigyee Mmere,” which airs every Saturday on Abusua 96.5 FM, has become a household name in the region, attracting a massive following and critical acclaim.

The award category, which was keenly contested by other notable presenters, including Mr. Black, Tony Best, Emcee Bebe, and others, recognized Mc Rabbi’s exceptional talent, dedication, and contributions to the entertainment industry. With flying colors, Wicked Queen J has demonstrated her intellectual prowess and dedication to excellence, excelling in a rigorous course that combined the in-depth study of pharmaceuticals, psychology, and related laws. Her comprehensive training encompasses managing and caring for mental health disorders, authorization law, psychopath law, sympathetic law, medical laws, and service laws, showcasing her unwavering commitment to making a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector.

As part of her professional development, Wicked Queen J will undertake a four-month service at the esteemed Psychological Institute Psychiatric Hospital, honing her skills and expertise before commencing full-time service at the same hospital, contributing to the nation’s healthcare sector.

Hundreds Thrilled At Atarah Praise 24 Hosted By Prophet Joseph Atarah

Hundreds turned up at this year’s Atarah Praise held at the forecourt of the Believers Grace Crown Ministries International at Adenta Barrier last weekend.

The event held under the theme, “Praising God for his acts of power Psalm 150:1” is an annual event aimed at winning souls for the Kingdom of God.

Prior to the main performances, an op­portunity was given to some amazing young singers to minister to the gathering. This saw Mag Narh, Anointed Michael, Nana Kwarte­maa, Richard and West African Senior High Choir mesmerise the gathering.

Patrons enjoyed unforgettable minis­trations from gospel heavyweights such as Patience Nyarko, Lady Prempeh, Akesse Brempong, Jack Alolomi, Mabel Okyere, Piesie Esther and Empress Gifty.

They took patrons through some of their amazing compositions and rocked them with some unstoppable praises.

The time everyone was waiting for came, when the man of the moment, Prophet Atarah took his turn on the big stage.

Clad in Blue and Yellow Military-like apparel, Prophet Atarah proved why he is the singing prophet.

He performed songs from his repertoire including ‘Woye Odo’ together with Piesie Esther.

Prophet Atarah expressed his appreciation to all for their diverse support in making the programme a success.
