Traders In Adadiemu Satellite Market Protest Against Suame Municipal Assembly Over Increase In A Shops Prices
Traders at Adadiemu Satellite Market near Anomaangye junction in the Suame Municipality have threatened to kick the Nana Addo led administration out of power for trying to extort money from their lifetime savings.
According to the chairman of the traders Samuel Asenso, the initial plan by the assembly for the traders to acquire shop on flexible terms has now turn way round. The assembly under the supervision of Hon.John Osei Bobbie now seeks more than the capital of the poor market women, imposing an amount Ghc60.000 for a shop.
They disclosed this information to Sikka Fm reporter Akoko Asense at a peaceful procession which took them through the satellite market with their red bands on heads and hands indicating how aggrieved and determine to vote the government out of office if they do not give a second thought to their decision of selling the shops for Ghc60.000.
