MCE for the Kwabre east municipal assembly, Hon. Nana Osei Assibey Bonsu has humbly appealed to the recalcitrant sanitation defaulters to desist from their acts.
According to him, it’s very painful and sad to see a human being carelessly dumping refuse into a gutter or in a public place whilst telling anyone who may caution him/her that Zoomlion will clear it.

To him and his jurisdiction, there’s going to be a serious maunhant and punishment for those recalcitrant beings who at times behave like animals.
He disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Nana Peprah after he and his assembly set Saturday (11-05-19) for a massive clean up exercise within the Kwabre east municipality. He backed his move by attaching the wise saying which goes, “cleanliness is next to Godliness”.

Surprisingly, Hon Nana Osei Assibey Bonsu disclosed that the over 300 years refuse dump which has been a long time problem at Ahwiaa Overseas is going to be dismantled in addition to one other at Kenyasi.

He called on all his people to as a matter of urgency involve themselves in the exercise. He further explained how the exercise is going to be done.
