A woman who is a carpenter in Techiman the capital of of Bono East Region called Madam Perpetual Ama Boahemaa last Sunday on M’abrab) mu NS3m which Maame Frimpomaa was the host, she has urged women to get involved in carpentry work because there are more benefit involved.

She added that, there have an NGO’s who are in need of woman who are into carpentry work but across the country (Ghana) they got only four (4) women which two(2) of them are from Brong Ahafo, one (1) from Ashanti Region and the other one(1) from Greater Accra which indicate that women who are into carpentry work are important

She said, there have been a lot of high unemployment rate in the which she think if women are to involve themselves in an interprenuership which carpentry is part, it will help to reduce the unemployment rate in the country.

Mad. Perpetual Ama Boahemaa added that, even men who are into carpentry has now turn into hairdressers and decorators which she think the men are taken the work of the women out of their hands, so is about time women also take their (men) work which is the carpentry from their hands.

She finally said, being in classroom alone does not mean you can become a successful person but involving yourself in an interprenuership which carpentry is part which can also make you somebody because she did not get money to continue his education after J.H.S but here is she now.
